Tuesday, 3 May 2016

We’re delighted to announce that next May 3, the Brightlands Simultaneous Chess Tournament takes place.

Take up the challenge!
Who dares to challenge chess master Hans Böhm? He will play simultaneously with you and other campus residents, among whom CEOs of campus companies!
But be warned: Böhm set the 1988 Guinness world record for simultaneous chess playing (560 opponents in 24 hours with 94% wins).

If you’re a winner, you will be awarded the Brightlands Simultaneous Chess Challenge Cup.
Furthermore, you are invited to attend as a VIP guest the BPB Limburg Open Chess Tournament, which takes place 13-16 May at Maastricht.

The Brightlands Simultaneous Chess Tournament will take place Tuesday May 3, in Building 24, starting at 13.00h, ending 14.30h.

Just come and play!
Hans Böhm brings his own chess boards.
It’s your opportunity to play against a real chess master!
